Can PVC coated wire be used for chain link fence manufacturing?
Yes, PVC coated wire is commonly used for chain link fence and welded mesh manufacturing. The PVC coating provides both corrosion protection and a clean appearance. We can supply wire in coil or spool format suitable for mesh weaving machines.
How long does the PVC coating last outdoors?
With UV-stabilized PVC over a hot-dipped galvanized core, the coating typically lasts 15+ years in temperate climates. In tropical or coastal areas, expect 8-12 years. The coating resists cracking, fading, and peeling under normal conditions.
What is the minimum order for custom colors?
For standard colors (green RAL 6005, black, white, grey), there is no minimum beyond our standard 1,000 kg MOQ. For custom RAL colors, the minimum is 2,000 kg to justify the color changeover cost.
Is the PVC coating food-safe?
Our standard PVC coating is not certified for direct food contact. For food-safe applications, we can supply PE (polyethylene) coated wire with food-grade certification. Please contact us for details.
