Product Description
WANSUN Razor Wire (concertina wire) is manufactured from high-tensile galvanized steel strip with razor-sharp barbs pressed at regular intervals. The BTO-22 profile is our most popular security blade type, providing effective perimeter deterrence for military installations, prisons, industrial facilities, and high-value properties. Available in single coil and cross-linked concertina configurations.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between BTO-22 and CBT-65 razor wire?
BTO-22 has shorter blades (22mm) and is the most common security type. CBT-65 has longer blades (65mm) providing maximum deterrence but is more aggressive. BTO-30 is an intermediate option. For most commercial applications, BTO-22 provides adequate security at a reasonable cost.
Can razor wire be installed on top of existing fencing?
Yes, razor wire is commonly installed on top of walls, chain link fences, and palisade fencing using V-profile brackets. We supply the brackets, clips, and tension wire needed for installation. Standard installation height is 1.5-2.0m on top of existing fencing.
Do you supply concertina cross-linked razor wire?
Yes, we supply both single coil and cross-linked concertina configurations. Concertina (cross-linked) provides a wider barrier (typically 450-980mm diameter) and is used for maximum security. Each concertina set covers 10-20m of perimeter.
Is stainless steel razor wire worth the extra cost?
For marine environments, coastal areas, or installations where the razor wire must remain visually clean, stainless steel 304/316 is worth the investment. Galvanized razor wire is sufficient for most inland applications with 10+ year life expectancy.
