What is the advantage of plastic cap nails over regular roofing nails?
Plastic cap nails have a wide plastic head (20-30mm) that distributes the holding force over a larger area. This prevents the nail from pulling through roofing felt, underlayment, or geotextile fabric during wind uplift. Regular roofing nails with small metal heads can tear through these materials.
Can plastic cap nails be used with pneumatic tools?
Yes, we supply collated plastic cap nails in coil format compatible with most roofing nailers including Hitachi, Bostitch, and Max. The collation wire holds the nails at the correct angle for the tool magazine. We can provide free samples for tool compatibility testing.
What are G-type sod staples used for?
G-type sod staples are U-shaped wire staples driven into the ground to secure sod, landscape fabric, weed barrier, irrigation tubing, and geotextile materials. They prevent movement of materials during establishment or wind. Available in various widths and gauges for different soil types.
Can you supply plastic caps in custom colors?
